Start one of three ways

Pick a year to open. You can move between years inside the tool.

What you can do once it opens
  • Scrub any date. Drag the year timeline or press the arrow keys and the chart follows instantly.
  • Focus one planet. Its lane opens up with every sign it enters and the exact date.
  • Jump to sign changes. Skip straight to the next or previous ingress.
  • Compare up to three planets. See where their paths cross during the year.
  • Tap a house. Every planet passing through it this year, with dates.
  • Print or export. A client-ready transit report, or the whole table as CSV.

Transit dates by planet and year

Each page lists that planet's exact sign changes for the year, calculated with Swiss Ephemeris.

2026 is highlighted. Dates use the Lahiri ayanamsa and include retrograde re-entries, so a planet can appear in the same sign twice in one year.

Frequently asked questions

How transits work, what Sade Sati means, and how to read current gochar against your natal chart.

What is Gochar Phal?

Gochar Phal is the Vedic analysis of current and upcoming planetary transits over your natal chart. "Gochar" means transit and "Phal" means result. It tells you what each planet currently transiting overhead is doing relative to your birth positions, which is how Vedic astrology predicts day-to-day and month-to-month events.

How are transits different from dasha?

Dasha is your internal time clock (which planetary period is running inside you, lasting years), while gochar is the external clock (which planet is currently transiting in the sky above). Real predictions combine both: a transit becomes meaningful when it activates a planet relevant to your current dasha.

What is Sade Sati?

Sade Sati is the roughly seven-and-a-half-year transit of Saturn over the 12th, 1st, and 2nd houses from your natal Moon. It is the most significant gochar event in a Vedic chart, often coinciding with restructuring, responsibility, and slow but lasting change. The VediqAstro gochar tool tells you if you are currently in Sade Sati and which phase.

Which transits matter the most?

Saturn (Sade Sati and Dhaiya transits over various houses), Jupiter (his roughly one-year per sign movement, especially over the 5th, 9th, and 11th from Moon), and Rahu and Ketu (their 18-month sign transit). Fast planets like Mars, Mercury, Venus, Sun, and Moon matter for short-term timing within a window the slow planets have already opened.

How do I check today’s transits for my chart?

The VediqAstro Gochar Phal tool overlays today’s planetary positions on your natal chart. You see which house each transit planet is in (counted from your natal Moon and Ascendant), what aspect each is making, and a short reading on what to expect.

How far ahead can I check transits?

The tool computes transits for any future or past date. You can plan months or years ahead by checking when favorable transits like Jupiter over your 11th or Saturn leaving your Sade Sati window will occur, and align important decisions accordingly.

Is the Gochar Phal tool free?

Yes, the basic transit overview is free for any date. Premium subscribers get detailed monthly and yearly transit forecasts with house-by-house and dasha-overlaid predictions.
