Chandra Bala is the strength of the Moon for you on a given day, judged by which sign the transiting Moon occupies counted from your birth Moon-sign (janma rashi). When the Moon sits in the 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th, or 11th sign from your janma rashi the Chandra Bala is good; the 4th, 8th, and 12th are considered nil or weak. For example, from Shravana to Ashwini is a count of seven, which lands on the seventh Tara, Naidhana.
