Morning Check
Many Vedic practitioners check the Panchang each morning:
- Today's Tithi: What energy dominates?
- Today's Nakshatra: What activities are favored?
- Today's Yoga: Auspicious or cautious day?
- Rahu Kaal: The inauspicious period to avoid for new beginnings (varies by day and location)
- Choghadiya: 8 periods during the day rated as good, bad, or neutral
For Major Decisions
Muhurta selection for important events requires ALL FIVE limbs to be favorable simultaneously - which is why finding a good Muhurta requires careful calculation.
