1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using VedIQAstro ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

VedIQAstro is an AI-powered Vedic astrology platform that provides:

• Astrological chart generation based on birth details
• AI-powered astrological analysis and predictions
• Question-based personalized readings
• AI Astrologer chat consultations: real-time, conversational guidance with domain-specialised AI personas (for example career, love and marriage, business, and life-path), billed per minute or via prepaid minutes plans
• Free trial chat sessions, where offered, to preview the AI Astrologer chat experience
• Free astrology tools and calculators (for example Kuja Dosham, compatibility matching, Panchang, Nakshatra finder)
• Subscription-based access to premium features
• PDF report generation for analysis

The Service uses advanced AI technology (including Google Gemini) to provide contextual astrological insights based on traditional Vedic astrology principles.

Important: the "AI Astrologers" are artificial-intelligence personas, not real, living, or licensed human astrologers. Names, titles, biographies, and avatars used for AI Astrologers are illustrative and do not represent specific real individuals. All responses in AI Astrologer chats are generated by AI. No part of the Service connects you to a licensed professional, counsellor, medical practitioner, lawyer, or financial adviser.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You can create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete birth details
• Maintain the security of your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not share your account with others

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different question limits and features. Plan details, pricing, and features are subject to change with notice.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms and conditions. We do not store your payment card information.

4.3 Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are billed in advance
• Question limits reset at the beginning of each subscription period
• Unused questions do not carry over to the next period
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled

4.4 One-Time Unlocks and Per-Minute Chat Consultations

• Individual analysis unlocks may be purchased as one-time payments, separate from a subscription.
• AI Astrologer chat consultations are charged on a per-minute basis, or through prepaid minutes plans, at the rates displayed at the time of purchase.
• Per-minute charges apply for the duration of an active chat session. Purchased minutes and minutes plans may carry an expiry period, which is shown at the time of purchase.
• Free trial chat sessions, where offered, are limited in duration and are provided at our discretion. We may modify or withdraw free trials at any time.
• Charges for consumed minutes, one-time unlocks, and completed consultations are generally non-refundable except as stated in our Cancellation and Refunds policy or as required by law.

5. Service Usage and Limitations

5.1 Free/Guest Usage

Guest users have limited access to the Service. Limits may vary and are subject to change. Signing in with an account may provide additional benefits.

5.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or access controls
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Share or resell access to your account

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and AI-generated analysis, are owned by VedIQAstro or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may download PDF reports for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

7. AI-Generated Content and AI Astrologer Chats

7.1 AI Analysis and Reports

The astrological analysis, predictions, and reports provided by our Service are generated using AI technology. While we strive for accuracy:

• Analysis is based on traditional Vedic astrology principles interpreted by AI
• Results are for informational and entertainment purposes
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of predictions
• You should not make significant life decisions based solely on AI-generated analysis
• Consult qualified professionals for important matters

7.2 AI Astrologer Chat Consultations

AI Astrologer chat consultations are real-time conversations with AI personas. By starting a chat session you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are chatting with an AI system, not a real, living, or licensed human astrologer. Persona names, titles, and biographies are illustrative and do not represent specific real individuals.
• Responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. They are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
• The chat does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for a qualified professional.
• You should not share information you do not wish to be processed by AI, and you should not rely on the chat in an emergency. If you are in crisis or distress, contact your local emergency services or a qualified helpline.
• To provide relevant guidance, the chat may use your birth details and computed chart. Conversation messages are stored to operate the Service, maintain your history, ensure safety, and improve quality, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You agree not to use the chat to attempt to obtain professional advice it is not designed to give, to solicit harmful or illegal content, or to abuse, harass, or attempt to manipulate the AI system or its safety controls.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of astrological analysis
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
• Security of data transmission or storage

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VedIQAstro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Decisions made based on astrological analysis
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Unauthorized access to your account or data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VedIQAstro, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason including:

• Violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Extended periods of account inactivity

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
